The Bond of the Beveragemakers
Long before the coffeehouses and gin palaces, a fellowship of brewers, distillers and vintners bound themselves by a single oath — to guard the secret of their craft upon the very walls of the City. Their bond endures in stone, waiting to be read by those who know where to look.
How It Works
- I.Seek out each mark hidden in plain sight across the city.
- II.Speak the code word to break the seal.
- III.Gather the revealed letters — they spell the guild's name.
- IV.Unscramble the name to uncover the true secret.
Suggested Starting Point: Outside St Paul's Station
The Rules
- •The hunt is self-guided and can be completed at your own pace — there is no time limit.
- •Visit each mark in sequence. Each code word you enter unlocks the next clue along the trail.
- •If you get stuck, you can request a hint at any mark — but using a hint forfeits your eligibility for any active prize or competition.
- •The hunt takes place outdoors across the city. Please be mindful of traffic, pedestrian access, and the opening hours of any parks or attractions along the route.
- •The Explorer's Expansion Pack is an optional extra — twelve additional marks you can seek out at your own pace, with no cipher to solve.
- •By taking part you agree to follow the Terms & Conditions and take responsibility for your own safety while exploring.
